How does SumUp work?
SumUp is a no-fuss service with only the essential tools needed to take face-to-face payments easily with no contractual obligation. You just sign up (takes 5-10 minutes), purchase the card reader and pay a fixed-rate transaction fee. There are no hidden fees and no monthly fixed costs.
What is SumUp on my bank statement?
A payment displayed as SumUp on your bank statement means that you have paid someone who uses one of our card readers. On the statement it should also display the name of that merchant.
Does sum up have a limit?
Is there a transaction limit for my SumUp profile? There is no transaction limit for card-present transactions through your SumUp profile. This means you can make a transaction of any amount, using any of our card readers.
Is sum up free?
Simply connect the card reader via Bluetooth to any iOS or Android device and set up online. There’s no paperwork required. Whatsmore, the SumUp card machine is contract free and 100% online. It even accepts Apple Pay, Android Pay, and American Express.
Can I use SumUp for personal use?
The SumUp is intended for businesses and may only be used to make payments for a business registered with SumUp. It is not intended for personal use.
Does sum up need WiFi?
Can I use SumUp without WiFi? Yes. If you don’t have access to WiFi, you can process transactions with SumUp using data coverage (minimum 3G speed) from your smartphone.
How do I get my money from SumUp?
- On the SumUp App, select “SumUp Card” on the Home screen.
- Go to “Payout settings” and click on “Change”. You will be directed to the “Settings” tab.
- Select “Direct to bank account”.
- Click “Continue” to confirm your payout method.
How can I make money from my sum?
Can I change bank account with SumUp?
Select “Profile” followed by “Profile Details” in the menu bar on the left-hand side of the screen. Go to “Bank details”. Scroll down to the button “Change Bank Account”.
Can I have 2 sum up machines?
Businesses with multiple staff members can use several SumUp 3G devices under the same SumUp business account.
